Today, Providence Ministries for the Needy was pleased to welcome our valued partners from the Hope for Holyoke Peer Recovery Support Center.

Representing Hope for Holyoke were AJ Beatty, Outreach Coordinator, and Gregory Pierce, Peer Leader. The team set up an information table outside of Kate’s Kitchen, connecting with guests and providing valuable recovery resources. They also distributed helpful items including backpacks, bottled water, disinfectant supplies, and other essential giveaways to those in need.

The outreach event created opportunities for meaningful conversations, helping guests learn more about recovery services while receiving practical support and encouragement. Through partnerships like this, Providence Ministries and Hope for Holyoke continue working together to ensure that individuals facing challenges know they are not alone and that help is available.

AJ Beatty reflected on the day’s outreach, saying:

“I am grateful for Providence Ministries for hosting us and giving us an opportunity to make connections with the community and share a message of hope.”

Gregory Pierce added an inspiring reminder:

“When you reach for the best in others, you discover the best in yourself.”

Pedro Rodriguez, Executive Director of Providence Ministries, shared his appreciation for the partnership:

“Strong communities are built through strong partnerships. We’re grateful for our ongoing collaboration with the Hope for Holyoke Peer Recovery Support Center and their shared commitment to supporting individuals on their recovery journey. Together, we’re creating more opportunities for hope, healing, and lasting change in our community. Thank you for being such a valued partner!”

Providence Ministries is thankful for the dedication of the Hope for Holyoke Peer Recovery Support Center and looks forward to continuing this important partnership as we work together to bring hope, compassion, and recovery resources to our community.
