Kate’s Kitchen served its first lunchtime meal in 1980. Since that day, one noon-time meal daily has been served to anyone in need with a “no-questions asked” policy. Kate’s Kitchen provides approximately 200 meals per day.
The Kitchen depends heavily on volunteers to assure the smooth running of the kitchen. We are grateful to the many local companies, church groups, farmers, supermarkets, restaurants, civic organizations, and the general public for continually volunteering or donating food to this program.
