Margaret’s Pantry, named for its foundress, Sr. Margaret McCleary, is proud to provide enough food for 3 meals and 3 snacks for 4 days to those in need. The number of people served continues to grow. In 2024 Margaret’s pantry served 7,984 individuals distributing 309,053 pounds of food from the Foodbank of Western Massachusetts.

Service Criteria

You are eligible for monthly service at the pantry and the following is requested but not required:

The below requested information is NOT REQUIRED and you WILL NOT ever be turned away for not having documentation.  Self-declaration is proof of need.

  • Mass Health or other Insurance Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Passport
  • Library Card
  • EBT Card
