Named after Sr. Mary Loreto, SP, the Loreto House is an 18-month transitional housing program for men in recovery from the traumas of addiction and/or homelessness. Since 1987 The Loreto House has also been a safe space of refuge for men.
With room for 30 residents, the Loreto House covers all utilities, offers free cable television in common areas, access to resources including medical care, addiction support services, therapy with a licensed clinical social worker, housing and employment services and educational opportunities. Both lunch and dinner are also provided daily to each resident. The Loreto House is a safe and highly structured environment based on the philosophies of peer recovery which includes the belief that there are multiple pathways to recovery and wellness, and that recovery does happen.
The Loreto house is handicap accessible (first floor only). Requirements for residency include a strong desire for personal wellness and recovery, a stable and sustainable income, and a dedication to work personal recovery each day. Program Fees are $400/monthly. Interested candidates are welcome to apply by calling 413.533.5909. Please note: To apply for a room, you will need one full month’s rent and security deposit equal to one month’s rent.
