The Broderick House is a Single Room Occupancy supportive, sober living environment for low income men. Residents must be clean and sober for a minimum of 12 months prior to consideration for admittance, and must stay sober during their residency. There are many twelve step meetings close by and residents will have access to our other five programs.
This 37 room multi-service facility offers up to 24 residential rooms (with one suite on the first floor). The first floor of the facility is handicap accessible via a ramp, and a offers a new fully equipped handicap accessible bathroom. The first floor of the building includes 4 living units, a kitchen, pantry, dining room/living room, and office space. The second floor includes bedrooms/bathrooms. The third floor is self contained with a kitchen, dining and living rooms areas and full bathrooms.
The first and third floor common areas are connected to cable. Each room is cable ready for a resident to have his/her own cable hooked up at their own cost.
The Broderick House was formerly the rectory of the Precious Blood Church and was later named for Sr. Agnes Broderick, SP who was instrumental in the creation of the program back in the late 1970’s & early 1980’s.
